Our Gifts Within Our Greatest Gift – Jesus

I was pondering today, the fact that Jesus is the Greatest Gift that can be given to anyone. And He offers himself to all mankind.

Jesus the Gift

Yet do we stop to ponder the gifts that are ours, within the Gift of Jesus?

I have been thinking on the gifts I enjoy, daily, because of Jesus being the Lord of my Life, my received gift, of My Savior.

It’s like opening a present, to find another present…opening that one, to find yet another present…opening that one, to find still another, all throughout my life.  Amazing! Thrilling! Oh friends, you simply must ponder this…

Here is but just a glimpse of my list, that I have rejoiced in. Perhaps you can add to it, many more gifts, but this will at least get you pondering about what I mean:

  • His Love
  • His Presence
  • His Wisdom
  • His Comfort
  • His Provision
  • His Listening Ear
  • His Forgiveness
  • His World’s Beauty to Behold
  • His Acceptance
  • His Family
  • His Salvation
  • His Healing
  • His Life – Eternal Life
  • His Discipline
  • His Guidance
  • His Peace
  • His Judgments
  • His Protection
  • His Word of Truth

I know this list could go on and on, for Christ is simply the gift that keeps on giving…

So, don’t know what to offer someone on your list for Christmas? Offer them Jesus.

Share Him, so that they may receive OUR GREATEST GIFT in life: CHRIST JESUS, THE SON OF GOD, WHO CAME, TO TAKE AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD….TO GIVE US HOPE…TO BRING US GOOD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY…HIMSELF.

Yes, a gift must be received, to have it be a blessing.  Oh that Eyes would SEE, and Ears would HEAR, even amidst all the commercialized hoopla, or depressing news evil brings to this world, the fact that CHRIST, IS INDEED, EMMANUEL, GOD WITH US.  AND HE STILL IS… WITH US… alive and well…giving us everlasting gifts…

He came once, as a baby.

HE GAVE HIMSELF… TO BRING YOU ALL THESE GIFTS…

He comes again, triumphant, as our King.

ARE YOU REJOICING? (Smile)  I SURELY AM!

MY Part – HIS Part

Sometimes, I have discovered, it is beneficial to take a scripture and break it down between what is MY Part  versus what is GOD’S Part of a promise.  When doing this, I came across Psalm 91:14-16, and was desiring to share my LIST of this breakdown, for I believe you will SEE actually that it is GOD who carries us, and who is the strong one.  We can become “comfortable” in depending UPON HIM, and NOT UPON OURSELVES.

Here is the scripture:

Because he has set His Love upon me, therefore, will I deliver him;  I will set him on high, because he has known my name.  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him.  I will be with him in trouble.  I will deliver him, and honor him.  With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.

NOW LET US PONDER and SEE from this list,  MY PART  versus  HIS PART:

MY PART

  • Set My Love Upon Him
  • Know His Name
  • Call Upon Him

HIS PART

  • To DELIVER me
  • To RAISE ME UP
  • To ANSWER me
  • To BE WITH ME, giving me His Presence, in trouble.
  • To DELIVER ME  *note this is repeated, emphasizing “over and over” He will deliver.
  • To HONOR me
  • To SATISFY me
  • To GIVE ME LONG LIFE
  • To SHOW ME  HIS SALVATION  (in this life and in the life to come)

NOW,  who has the HARD PART ??  It is GOD, isn’t it.

LOOK AT  ”MY PART” – Not too heavy a yoke, is it?

I think of Jesus’ words also, “Come to Me, ye who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for my yoke is easy and burden is light.”

MY PART

  • Come TO HIM
  • Attach myself to Him (as being yoked together, as oxen are, side by side in unity of purpose)
  • Learn OF HIM

HIS PART

  • To CARRY my burden, making it light for me
  • To BEAR the yoke, so the end upon my shoulders is LIGHT and EASY
  • To give me REST

GOD can be counted upon to do His Part, and he is more than ABLE to do His Part.

AND

I can do my part, for I am ABLE to do My Part.

WHO HAS IT HARD?  Neither My BIG GOD, nor me!

IF I WILL BUT EMBRACE, AND DO, MY EASY PART -I WILL SEE GOD COME THROUGH FOR ME!  (smile)

TO CLOSE:

May the REALIZATION that you don’t have to DO HIS PART, bring you to freedom of trust.

May the REALIZATION that HE does require you TO DO your part, bring you to doing that part. Believers are “in covenant” with God, through Christ, and each one of us must perform our part of the promises that they might be fulfilled in our lives.

AND MAY WE SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD!  Amen?!

Your Christian Walk Likened to a Commuter Train

This YouTube presentation, which I created as it was given me from the Lord, will give you a change of perspective in how to look at your own christian walk. It is likened to a commuter train in so many respects. I admit the presentation is not “exciting” (for it was my first attempt at a youtube), yet I still encourage you to view it in its entirety, for each page is full of revelation that could only be given in “modern day”and “for such a time as this”.  Indeed, the change of perspective it will bring, will give YOU strength in the days ahead in your own Christian walk. ALLELUIA

We should fear only

If God were not in control.

We should worry only

If He were not able to meet our needs.

We should strive only

If the Lord were not our Shepherd.

We should doubt only

If He were not faithful.

We should grieve only

If Jesus were not risen.

I did not write the prose above, but it certainly communicates the “riches” that are ours in Christ. He is the one who may be looked to in all of our life’s ups-and-downs, for He is totally “steady” as OUR ROCK.

Be blessed this week, realizing OUR RISEN SAVIOR IS IN THE WORLD TODAY. And is right there with you to help you TODAY.

IN GOD WE TRUST      Do We NOW?

I bear witness in my heart to the message that is being given, and I personally am responding to God’s message, and am in prayer for all of us…God’s Children within the USA…to be given wisdom in how to live out our response to the serious warning being given.

Hebrews 3:15 is a good verse to keep in mind as you open the video link and soberly ponder the message of God’s warnings to the USA : As it has been said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.”  or as the CEV version simplifies it:  ”If you hear his voice today, don’t be stubborn like those who rebelled.”

I wrote this song after realizing how much more wonderful my Christian walk was by looking at Christ, and away from my self.  It is called Reflecting Jesus.  As we gaze on him, we will most certainly be transformed.

Let Christ Change Your Perspective

I want to share a “fun thing” the Lord showed me tonight. It has everything to do with us being willing to change our perspective, or being open to having the Lord change our perspective. For He WILL. (smile)
Tonight such a change in perspective happened “in the natural” to reveal to me, and now to you, a spiritual application:
Being rather restless in bed tonight, I happened to glance at my clock and it happened to be EXACTLY 12:12. Interesting, I pondered, as I shifted my position. Yet, as I was adjusting my position, I caught the clock out of the corner of my eye, upside down as it were, and it read 21:21.
It was viewed at the SAME TIME from the SAME CLOCK and yet it read DIFFERENTLY.
Now…let’s SEE it, this way:
Perhaps you see a circumstance in your life “a certain way” – maybe your vision is “small” like the 12:12. But let’s suppose you shifted your “position” and took a look at it from a different “perspective” – the one the LORD can give you suddenly…
do you see how things might  be enhanced by allowing Him to change your “perspective”? How God could change your capacities, or your proportions, or your scope, or your dimension? God sees things differently than we do! And He can show us people or circumstance or finance “the way HE views it“.

I am encouraged, myself, to seek the Lord for His Viewpoint.

How about you? (smile)

Let us get into the Word of God and see how HE, The LORD, would have us VIEW things… He really IS ABLE, to change things!  So LOOK !
