Lay Hold on Eternal Life

Jesus The Gift That Keeps On Giving

Revolution requires Revelation. Are we living a normal life, when we could be living a divine life?  Is all the world dwelling in darkness because we haven’t laid hold on a particular truth we ourselves are called to?  We  all are actually “called to live it” and “are to confess it“…and are to “keep this commandment without spot, blameless” until Jesus comes!!…So please, loved ones, allow me to begin to tell you…just what God is showing me…it is just “the beginning” then of what He will then begin to show you! Please read every single word–I don’t want you to miss out on something God will reveal to you personally.

This week, while reading scripture, I realized there was a phrase repeated… so I took special note of it…and began to meditate on its meaning…

So, read it yourself. I’ve typed it here. Do you see it?

I Timothy 6:11-21

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called, and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen. Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge—by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.

Note that Paul says, in verse 12,  “Lay hold on the eternal life” … to which you were called…I Timothy 6:19 emphasizes the same phrase, “lay hold on eternal life“.

See in Verse 13-14 we are urged in the sight of God and Christ to “keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing.”

To fight the good fight of the faith in the Christian life, and especially in the Christian ministry, we need to lay hold on this divine life and not trust in our human life. Hence, in 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus, the eternal life is stressed again and again. Please take time to see this for yourself: (1 Tim. 1:16; 6:19; 2 Tim. 1:1, 10; Titus 1:2; 3:7). Go ahead and google a glance at these scriptures if you’re on the internet.

We have been called to the eternal life of God. We were born of the human natural life, but we were reborn of the divine eternal life when we were called by God in Christ. Romans 6:23 tells us that eternal life is A Gift…”But the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Other scriptures also tell us that we are saved through believing, through grace, and not of works, so no one can ever boast. So laying hold on the eternal life is an invitation that can be accepted by all men of all nations, as they come to understand just what that means.

Verses 11 and 12 of our I Timothy 6 text, are a marvelous summary of how a man or woman of God, who is in Christ, ought to live. Living the divine life means we pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and meekness; we should fight the good fight of faith, and lay hold on eternal life.

Paul specifically says, in verse 12, that we have been called to eternal life. No other book in the New Testament speaks of “the eternal life to which you were called.” Do you realize that you have been called to eternal life? This eternal life does not mainly refer to blessings in the future, although we do lay up treasure in heaven. To be called to eternal life does not mean that we have been called to enjoy blessings in heaven. We are to enjoy eternal blessings even now…here. Eternal life should be our life today, a life for our present daily living. And it will direct every single choice in life we make, after we lay hold of it.

Many believers in today’s world have not fully laid hold of the truth we are going to illuminate today. I am especially concerned for those dear saints who have been distracted from the eternal life to which we have been called and who have become preoccupied with other things. We have been called uniquely to eternal life. This life, the divine life, is actually the Triune God Himself. You and I have been called to eternal life, and now should lay hold on this life, live this life, and have our whole being transformed according to this life.

First we must identify what the scripture itself says IS eternal life. In other words, what is the definition of eternal life:

John 17:3 “and this IS eternal lifethat they know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”

Does that definition say, oh, it’s a life in heaven…or, it’s for the future…or it’s life after death. No!! It is “knowing” God and Jesus! Knowing like in “Intimacy”!! Oneness! Eternal life is ours NOW! Lay hold on eternal life. It is a life of oneness with the Godhead.

This other verse comes immediately to mind: “He that has the Son hath life …he that has not the Son of God has not life.”

Let’s look at that in context…

I John 5:10 -13:

10 The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son. 11 And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

God is the best witness ever! We can TRUST Him, though God knows it’s difficult these days to trust anyone else, and He says here, in no uncertain terms, that there are not other ways, or other gods, or religions that lead to eternal life. Eternal life is in Christ Jesus.

Read and declare aloud verses 11-12 above until you get it deep in your spirit…and better yet, until you can say them by heart to anyone you are called “to witness to” in the days and weeks ahead. The whole passage can be shown them, as you yourself lay hold on eternal life, and share this truth with others!  The divine life can be lived as you and I abide in the Father and in the Son. Eternal life is our focus. HE Becomes our life. We have eternity within us now. Fear need never overtake us…ever…again! And look, see 14 and 15 of the I John 5 passage: the asking and receiving comes confidently when we realize our position eternally in the Godhead. We abide IN THEM even now. We are ETERNAL even now, a gift, for when we received Jesus, we received eternal life. Praise GOD!

As we glance down to I John 5:20-21 we see this amazing passage as well:

“And we know that the son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. Little children keep yourselves from idols. amen.”

Interesting too, is the verse tagged on to the passage above. Almost as if it didn’t belong there. Yet, We will keep ourselves from idols…i.e. all that would interfere with living in light of eternity, anything that God and Christ, in us, could not participate in, with us. We will be mindful of what we have been putting in front of God, priority wise. We want to know God and Christ… not some untruth or falsehood…and as we abide in fellowship with the Godhead through the Holy Spirit, we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free. In many areas of our life, where we may now be bound in sin, or living a normal life rather than a divine life, laying hold of eternal life, will open up increasing revelation from the scriptures in so many ways.

Look here at this amazing scripture of truth, right in line with what I’m tell you above:

I John 2:18-29

18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

24 Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life.

26 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him 28 And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.

Oh that we would grow in revelation of what eternal life is, within us, nowtoday…and how knowing we will live for eternity, in the Godhead, will empower us to be overcomers amidst a world overrun with the antichrist spirit. It will make us bold as lions! It will fill our mouths with praises to Our God! It will cause us to love like Christ! To have our land abound with signs, wonders, miracles, giving, sharing, loving our Eternal Life! Making our God and Savior glorified among men! Yes!! May the Lord strengthen and empower us to “let our light so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify the Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

We can definitely fight the good fight of faith, if our heads can wrap around this awesome truth…That he who has the Son has life, and he who has not the Son of God has not life.

Man of God, Charles Spurgeon, is quoted as saying this:

You, poor Sinner, as you go after your follies and amusements, may the call, “Lay hold on eternal life,” come to you until you shall obey it and quit such trifles!

And you, Christian, when you get into the world and are tempted to make gain by sin, while you will suffer loss by righteousness, may you hear a voice say, “Lay hold on eternal life”!

And any of You…When you who get the “cold shoulder” and the rough side of men’s tongues, when you begin to think that you cannot bear it, may you hear the voice saying, again, “Lay hold on eternal life.”

Cling to that, for God, for Christ, for eternity, for Heaven. The eternal life is the only life worth living! God help you to live for it always and, if you do, it will be of His own Grace—and to Him shall be all the Glory, forever and ever! Amen.

And I, Beth Ann Smith, say, “AMEN!” I can’t put it any clearer than that. The scriptures I have shared were given me by the Holy Spirit, whose job it is to reveal that which God and Christ have to give us. Accept Jesus! He loves you and gave his life so you can have ETERNAL LIFE… a life of eternal fellowship with God your creator, and Jesus, who IS Eternal Life. The Life is IN HIM. Without Him, Jesus, you will not have life. It is actually that simple.

Because we have ALL sinned… it’s important again, to realize, that Eternal Life, is the gift we are given, within the gift of God’s Son. It is the BEST NEWS on the face of the planet! And if you ask Jesus and Father and Holy Spirit into your life, and receive Eternal Life…then you will be the HAPPIEST you’ve ever been, no matter what chaos the Devil, who knows his time is short, will try to throw at you.  Only thing has to happen concerning a gift… you must receive it.. and live IN IT… you must LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE, and no longer live your “normal life” ever again.

I close with sharing these two verses, once again: I John 5:11-12

And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life,

and this life is in His Son.

He who has the Son has the life;

he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

USA-Time To Take A Stand For OUR GOD

Nation under God?I personally am going to stand up and celebrate the true God and Christ Jesus. And I’m going to boldly say, This means closing doors and not opening any windows further to The Enemy!

Already an anti-Christ spirit is loosed throughout the USA from the people who have come here, that serve false gods, and in Revelation, it is this anti-Christ spirit, and the nations under its rule, that fights against God himself at the end of days.

Let’s take a look at the religion, Islam. Those of this faith do not care about our democracy, or our love for God, as much as they have ” a mission” to bring sharia law and their evil ways to all the lands they plan to “take over” for “their god”.

Watch and Listen to the video I have inserted in this post…and see what is already going on across the ocean! It is why we must have our borders protected!!!

I am not attempting to breed hate…

“Jesus said, ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight…’”
John 18:36 (NIV)”

Ours is a “relationship” with God and Christ, through the Holy Spirit. We are to love…rescue…help…extend kindness, etc…to even our enemies, when it comes to relationships we have.

Rather, I am standing up for this country to return to our roots, to declare IN GOD WE TRUST, and be the Christian Country that the USA was created to be!

I stand for God, Jehovah, Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who has blessed our country and will continue to do so if we return unto Him. Do you not desire to live in an environment where love IS possible? Where our laws are not being changed to reflect foreigners laws. Our forefathers had God given wisdom in how to set up our government and constitution, etc. They honored God.

Muslims are people that with their own declarations declare they are faithful to their god over the rules of man…that will kill for their faith. They believe they are superior, and are taught from wee children to destroy us. That we are the infidels. They are not a peaceful people. Christ died for them, yes… but only if they become His…Christians…leaving behind Islam…the religion of their false god…whose fruit is that of terror, murder, hate, and evils beyond description. Just because our God has been protecting us, doesn’t mean it isn’t so, that he is grieved about His blessings not appreciated or Christ not exalted. We are given time to repent, meaning to change our perspective to His.

We have just been under Great Grace, but we are a house of cards that can topple with the pullout of just one of those cards, if we do not repent and turn back to OUR GOD.  Judgment beginning at the house of God is usually “our enemies” beginning their rule “over us”…It has been so throughout scripture. I, for one, think they have gone “too far” and it’s time to get our Nation back Under God.

Therefore, as far as Muslims entering the USA, it is a choice “they” should have to make, to dwell here in our land, and not a choice we make to receive “them”. We are not going to change them. They do not integrate into the societies they are taking over. On a personal level, It is kind of like us saying if a little girl gets raped by an angry sexually deviate evil uncle, she should love him anyway, for she should love. Let him live in the house with her. She should eat with him and pretend he is good. He only rapes her periodically…No way! Evil is evil. We ought not to “entertain” it because we are a peaceful people. Makes sense, she should keep her distance from him, just as we ought to keep such evil away from us! Protect your loved ones! And wise up! Borders are biblical. They keep the good in, not just the bad out. It is time to close the doors and windows, to secure our house, our country…

There are individuals – your friends – maybe even our enemies, those here already, and legally – these can be loved…especially as they may be seeking the truth of God. If our light gets bright from within, this will dispel the darkness. And then there are masses – that take over entire societies. Proverbs 29:18 says, When there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but the one who keeps the law, blessed is he!  I do not want to abide in lawlessness! And even though it will mark the end times, it need not mark the USA. We can separate ourselves out, and make it uncomfortable for evil to stay within our borders.

Other countries are warning us daily from overseas to secure our borders, for they cannot even recognize their own precious communities any longer. But will we listen?

Why not let refugees dwell in Muslim countries if they declare themselves Muslims. And let refugees who have no problem with declaring they will come UNDER Our God, and under the laws of Our Land, as we declare ourselves a Christian Nation, to then come in. How simple is that!  The problem is Obama has declared us “No longer a Christian Nation”. It was spoken from the top down, and now I say “NO! He isn’t right! There are enough Christians left in this land that declare us One Nation Under God. And we have a leader coming up for election that desires us to be declared a Christian nation again. It is our duty to elect him.

Scripture says in Ephesians 6:12, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” let’s keep those “spirits-powers-evil hosts” over there…and not be “entertaining them” here… You can be sure they are not going to be entertaining the “Holy Spirit” ! Holiness is the furthest thing from their hearts and minds. Choose you this day whom you will serve. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. This IS our answer: Turn ourselves back to God our Father, and Jesus Christ The Lord. Therein lies our freedom and our future.

Therein lies HOPE for the United States of America: One Nation, Under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice, for all. Yes, I hear you say, “yeah, for ALL, Beth”.. and I say “yes”…but under the watchful eyes of being Under God.

If those win, whose voices say “Take our nation out from Under God, so we can represent the people.” I say, “I would rather have God represent us, then us represent them who choose Him not.” Fearing man is a snare. We need to fear our God who is able to destroy both body and soul, not just body. Under God means we don’t give freedoms to those who are criminals, deviates, those of the LGTV community, and other hosts that are not Under God, and live in direct contradiction to his commandments. These unsaved people are taking us down a downward spiral and the sin abounding is opening doors to every demonic hoard out there, and the USA will implode from within, Christians, if we do not take a stand. The hour we are in is critical.

Not only on our knees…(yet prayer is where we start with God, pleading for Him to heal our land and to change us individually, so our own lives reflect our love for Him) .. But in PUBLIC! We must declare our God! With our Mouth! In our creative expressions! In our conversations! In our lifestyles! In our household priorities of taking time out to worship God, to attend church, keeping our own children disciplined, loving our neighbors, etc.

Fear not standing up for the Lord!! Christians, it is time to do so. If we don’t, God will not let us go (for we are his people), but he will let our nation go (if we collectively choose not to be his people).

Let’s see how God’s Word challenges us to take Our Stand FOR HIM:

1 Peter 4:12-19 New King James Version (NKJV)

Suffering for God’s Glory

12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;

13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters.

16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

18 Now

“If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

NEW SONG – We Magnify Your Name Lord – Psalm 34

*make sure the cc button is clicked on, as you view this, for it will show the lyrics as I sing them, at the bottom of your screen.

This is Beth Ann Smith. This song was given me in One Day – October 27, 2016 – and I believe it is for such a time as this. First the piano part, while worshiping at the piano in the morning time. Then the lyrics, when I went to the Lord for them, for I heard the first part (title) in my spirit: We Magnify Your Name Lord. Upon looking those particular words up on my bible app, Psalm 34 scripture came up. The lyrics, after reading it, just came forth. So, realizing this song was “given”, I believe, “for such a time as this”, please take a listen and come back to worship with the cc lyrics any time you’d like!

Psalm 34.. It is an amazing Psalm! …so I believe God would have me also share it with you, to read, after you listen to the song.

Psalm 34 (KJV)

34 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Jesus, Not Your Ordinary Man

img_0003I am sharing these words of John the Baptist, spoken concerning Jesus Christ, for I believe we all will be blessed to familiarize ourselves with his testimony, for it will keep us in the truth, and from falling into error in these end times.

John 3:31-36

He that cometh from above IS ABOVE ALL; he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven IS ABOVE ALL.

And what JESUS hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.

yet, he that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God IS TRUE.

For HE WHOM GOD HATH SENT speaketh the words OF God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

The Father loveth THE SON and hath given ALL THINGS into his hand.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth NOT the Son SHALL NOT SEE LIFE; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

I Am The Daughter! (A Parable for Christian Women)

The man is the Sovereign King over the whole earth. He has many subjects under his authority, and they are expected to obey his every command without question.

He is awesome in his power.

But you know, the man is also a “Daddy”. He has a little girl who he refers to as the “apple of his eye”. She goes into his presence and plays while he is conducting the affairs of the government which is upon his shoulders. Once in a while she’ll come up to him and ask him a question, and he will interrupt what he is doing to answer her as gently and clearly as he can so she can understand. As he goes back to his work he is ever mindful of her near him, looking to make sure she is not in danger or in need of anything. Once in a while he has to tell her to “watch out” or “don’t do that”. She asks “Why Daddy?” and he tells her why and it’s because he loves her. Oh yes, she is sometimes naughty and needs to be corrected. But his discipline is a sternness that doesn’t even have to be too severe, for just a look of displeasure from her daddy crushes her and she knows in her heart she never wants her daddy against her even for a brief moment. This is so different from his other subjects because they obey not out of love as a girl for her father, but they obey simply because of the consequences of disobedience. Therefore, the King has to punish them severely, for this is the degree it will take to deter them from their own will to his. Oh yes…what grace and loving kindness the King has for his daughter! Though proud of her daddy, she is not proud in herself. She simply enjoys her daddy’s presence and begins watching him at work. Perfect love has cast out all fear in her little heart.

As the little girl matures, she walks in the revelation of love she has received from her daddy, but now she is getting glimpses of just who her dad is: He’s the King! She begins to notice his awesome authority over all the affairs of man, she begins to see his great wisdom in all things, she begins to see his sovereignty and his justice. She begins to delight in these things as she sees his mighty judgments go forth over the whole earth. She begins to note his strength and power. And you know what, she begins to GLORY IN HER FATHER! She begins to praise him when she’s with him for these new things she’s discovered. She says, “Boy, Dad, that was amazing how you changed that man’s life by giving him that advise! How did you know that’s just what he needed?” And her “little girl discoveries” cause her to have such joy she thought not possible. She had known her father as the daddy who kissed her boo boos, played with her, provided for her every need, and tucked her in at night. In other words, she had known and loved him for what he could do for her. Now she was knowing and loving him for WHO HE WAS! She began to see his control not only over her and her brothers and sisters, but over the whole earth. He commands and it’s done, he pronounces a judgment and it is carried out, he gives pardon and no one can judge. She notes that he rewards his faithful ones, he fights and conquers his enemies, he was perfect in everything that he does. She realizes it is his great love that dictates everything his authority carries out. Wow! I think this is what she gloried in the most! She knew his great love and his heart first (this was her foundation) and so now as she was discovering his power, strength, and
sovereignty it did not cause rebellion or fear. Rather, it brought a clearer picture of the many attributes her father possessed, making it all the more easy for her to trust him fully. Oh how she GLORIED IN HER FATHER!

Then one day, Father came to her and said to his daughter, “I’d like for you to go out into my kingdom and do some of my work for me using my authority.” She didn’t have a lot of confidence in herself to be sure, but she knew the great authority of her father and didn’t question his wisdom or right to ask her to do this for him. Father gave her his ring (signifying her right to make decisions in his name; authority was given), his robe (to walk in his righteousness not hers), and sandals (to let others know she was a family member, not a slave). He gave her his instructions, which he trusted her to follow because he knew her love and devotion to him. Oh yes, he knew her heart, her motives, everything! He wanted to use his little girl for he knew she could accomplish particular missions for him that his sons could not. He gave her the assignment to reach hurting people, for he had put into her heart a passion for souls and a desire to heal broken lives so that they could be reconciled to their King without fear. His enemy had played a number on these broken ones. They blamed the King for many of the problems. He wondered if they would accept his daughter.

Because he knew the danger he was putting her into, he dispatched “bodyguards” from the palace to follow her and keep vigil over her. Oh yes, most of the time she was very mindful of this protection, but on occasion they would watch from afar and so she sometimes forgot their presence. She always knew her Father’s heart was with her though. Oh how she loved him. She wanted to do just what he told her to do! She wanted to please him in all things…in private or in public. She was pure of heart. He knew she was ready, for he had tested her in many things prior to sending her on this great mission. She learned from her mistakes, confessed her wrong doing sometimes without even any discipline, and she walked humbly before her father. Never did she mistake who HE WAS and who SHE WAS. There was no comparison! Her only dream was to make him happy and maybe begin to display some of his attributes in her own life for she liked what she saw!

Her Father, the King, was proud of her accomplishments, protected her from harm, and was there for her to come home to whenever she became discouraged or even injured by her enemy. She’ll always be “His Little Girl” who can get a hug and embrace when she needs it. She’ll always be “His Little Girl” when she is distraught over the enemy making headway and he assures her of his sovereignty and power to take things in hand. But she is being forced to grow up into the things he wants for her to walk in. He wants her to carry his authority! You see the main problem she’s coming up with is the fact that the enemy does recognize her authority and attacks, but the people she is going to, to help, still don’t see her authority, so they aren’t listening to the King’s instructions given through her to them. She is frustrated by this, therefore is tempted to quit her work and just stay in the palace with her Father and let the enemy have his way. Of course, she is convicted in her heart of her love being so much less than her Father’s love for these people. She also knows quitting would cause her Father to be disappointed in her.

She decides to go boldly to her Father about it, and lay it all out before him…everything!:
“Father, I must have really fouled up. The people aren’t accepting the authority I have in you, and so they are not heeding YOUR WORD to them. They attack me along with the enemy, and I am so grieved… not for myself, but for the fact that you are unable to bring freedom to them unless they heed YOUR WORD of instruction. Oh Father, I now appeal to you as King! I am your ambassador and I ask for a mighty judgment to go with me that they see YOU, and that I do indeed carry out Your instructions, not my own. I’ve even tried living among them so that they could see that I bear your resemblance. At their insistence, I’ve tried to change my tactics, delivery, etc, but still they do not listen. I will come to you to intercede for them cause I know that you are able to bring reconciliation and truth. Please Father, what will you do?… not to vindicate me although that is a heart’s desire of mine…but to get them to listen TO YOU?

The Father responds to his daughter by saying that he has not only sent her, but other sons and daughters as well, to speak to the people. “Daughter, you may not realize it, but there are some who really do want my freedom and truth, and they ARE listening, so do not give up on this, your assignment. They will come to truth, and I will unite them against their enemies.”

“It is not because you are a women, for they have rebelled against your brothers that are telling them the same word from me too. Their rebellion is against My authority, and the result of their enemy’s oppression over them. You see, they are ravaged and know not my voice. But I see and love them still, and I will strengthen you my Daughter. Do not give up on this mission, my will for you right now.”

His unfailing love and forgiving heart over her “failure” is always assured. Even if she “fouls up” or “losses faith in herself’. You see, He, the Sovereign King, is not threatened in the least by her failure. He can step in at any time and take matters into his own hands! And HE KNOWS IT! Therefore he is loving and patient with his sons and daughters as they do his work. He delights in his daughter, especially when she stands tall and in pride says, “This is what my Father says.”

The people watch her go back and forth to the palace and have even heard her converse with her father when he has come near, but they are angry toward her and attack her of pride. They choose not to see that she is pleading for their reconciliation and desiring only to stay in intimate fellowship with her Dad. She knows she is nothing apart from him.
Although she is just learning how to represent her Father, she knows him intimately and therefore knows his heart on a lot of issues. She is aware of his thoughts, his commands, his will, etc. And yet she doesn’t know everything about him, so when a question comes up that she doesn’t know his heart on, she goes to him to ask. He has no reason to not tell her his wisdom, and in fact encourages her to ask by giving her his word that he would give it! He certainly won’t be bothered by her asking him.

The question arises. What if she would misrepresent him on something? Out of carelessness? Or because of not knowing his will because of failure to ask? What would be her father’s response? She decided to go to him and ask him what his judgment would be. He met with her in his inner chamber and told her that he could undo any damage, and that he would surely forgive her. He knew she wasn’t perfect. But he also adds, “Regardless of how you represent me, remember I am sovereign. You are my ambassador. Carry my authority, and know me and my heart. You are a part of me, and I will back up the authority I have given you.” She knew she’d never have to worry about making a mistake if she herself walked in submission to her Father, and that even if she suffered for doing right, she would have his approval which was sufficient. But she also knew that if she purposely went away from his will or instruction, then she would suffer under his judgment , so she could be brought back to obedience and submission. This certainly put a determination in her heart to heed his every instruction, ask for his judgments, his timing, and his strategies about everything. It would easy for her to humble herself before her Father because he loved her so and she knew no pain in doing so. It was more scary to humble herself before a people who hated her in the first place. What would that do to her already big problem of them not yet recognizing that she was doing her Father’s will? She asked her dad about this scorn: He said, “Whether they respond to your humility or not, I WILL… and if they do not eventually accept the authority I give you, I myself will step on the scene to make sure all will know you have been representing me all along! I will not allow the suffering to continue forever, for my love for the people is just as great as my love for you. I will bring them to know me and my ways. “

The Father cautioned his daughter to listen to his instruction and meet with him often in his inner chambers so she would know his strategies, his plans, his heart. There she could speak to him for the people too. She knew she was to stand in the gap as his ambassador. And as she did this, His love for the people became her love for the people. She was amazed at how deep her love for them was, regardless of how they treated her when she was with them. That mattered not! What mattered to her was that they be reconciled with her Father, so that he could bring them liberty from the oppression of their enemies.

The thought came to the daughter: “What if I would someday willingly go away from my Father, the King, and choose not to do the hard work for him as instructed?” (She shutters at the possibility.) But then she becomes so aware of all she has as his daughter….the riches….and she knows she will never depart from him. The riches of his love, his presence, his wisdom, his comfort, his provision…yes even his discipline and judgments… are too great for her to ever go away from! He has captured her with his love! Her foundation is solid! She is able to enter His Rest as she realizes he has complete control over her…AND over everyone and everything else! She will take this thought captive if ever it reels its ugly head! SHE IS FREE!

The Daughter has her Father’s word that she will be given HIS GLORY after a time, IF she learns to walk in her Father’s Love and Authority. There will be a COST for her to do this. But, if she listens and obeys and lets his words permeate her very being, she herself will become like her Father. He will be pleased to “see himself’ in her…She is already his flesh and blood, but what she becomes is her gift of love to Him. He desires her perfection and will help her every step of the way!

She is His delight, and He is hers!

Daughters: Remember you were adopted when you accepted Christ into your life, and you are Father God’s daughter now. I hope that you will see yourself as the daughter in this parable and realize “who you are” and “the riches ” you have been given. Let the Father love you to wholeness before trying to do his work. May the Father free you to serve him wholeheartedly and with fullest abandon. This is about becoming free to walk in the authority God your Father will give you to do HIS WILL and Further HIS KINGDOM.

YES, Daughter He NEEDS YOU! And even more importantly, HE LOVES YOU !

Sons: Please let the Father have his way in your sisters too. There is much work to be done. Do the work of the kingdom side-by-side. Do not be jealous or envious or threatened by your Daddy using his daughters. He will want to use YOUR sons and daughters too. Every wife is also the Father’s daughter…remember that. Do not stand in HIS WAY of using that daughter who may just happen to be your wife too. She is God’s precious gift to you, but He owns her, not you. Release her unto her FATHER, the SOVEREIGN KING, then you too will be liberated!

Only as Father can use ANY son or daughter of HIS that HE chooses, will the KINGDOM ADVANCE and HE BE GLORIFIED!

Note: This revelation doesn’t mean not to submit to your authorities. (Don’t let the enemy deceive you.) True freedom comes under our authorities, with God always the highest authority.

That’s why men, do not oppress your wives. She will feel oppressed and suffer greatly if there is a great difference between your authority and what she believes God is telling her. She is commanded to submit to you…so YOU are the one who will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ and give account as to whether you hindered her, or encouraged her, to fulfill HER FATHER’s WILL for her life. And remember daughters, your Father will honor your obedience to your husbands, for this is clearly His will for you. If any authority is blatantly wrong in the sight of your Father God, do you not know that HE SEES? He will protect you and, in his time, will bring deliverance. Or he will give grace and strength to submit to the suffering God has allowed by your submissiveness to Him.

As far as authorities as church, pastor, mission, ministry, etc. It is of the utmost importance in these end times that you are careful who you follow. You must first know your God before you can make a right judgment. But a good rule is: Whatever leads to Intimacy With My Lord, GO FOR IT! Intimacy brings joy and peace and rest for your soul, for with it comes the knowledge of both the loving kindness and the severity of your FATHER GOD!

May He Bless You and Give You DEEP REVELATION TRUTH from this parable, as He has given me. And let’s pray for and encourage each other…as we walk as brothers and sisters, loving our Father with all our heart, soul, and mind…so that we CAN have HIS LOVE in US to love our neighbor as our self….that his kingdom may be on earth, and his will be done in us, as it is in heaven.

Learning What NOT To Do as a Nation Under God

Nation under God?

The USA has been responding to God as the nation of ancient Israel did, right before their Enemies were made to Rule Over Them. God has not changed, and has given to us an incredible warning passage, Psalm 106, that holds key observations and similarities between our nations. It reveals their actions and his responses, so we can literally learn from ISRAEL, what NOT to do.

The first verse assures us that God’s mercy is always and forever available to us, for He is a Good God. Oh how wonderful it would be, if we would each respond as God desires us to, so we can collectively keep ourselves as a Nation Under God, Indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for all.  Clearly we need to turn toward Him to stay in our blessed state of existence, for justice and righteousness are the foundation of his throne. There is no liberty or justice apart from God. It is a deadly lie of the modern world that liberty is “apart from” submission to our Creator and King. He is our supreme authority at all times, and His Word reveals His Will.

Psalm 106:1

Praise the Lord, for He is Good…for His Mercy endures forever!

  1. Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? Who can declare all his praise?
  1. Blessed are those who keep justice and he who does righteousness at all times!

It is interesting that a prayer begins the chapter, as the nation’s sins are then acknowledged, for future generations to see, and to learn from. We can learn from their mistakes, from seeing God’s responses, and how godly men can indeed “intervene” when sin is standing in the way of God’s merciful nature and turning him toward wrath. Clearly, as scripture says, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much!”

The remarkable prayer that begins the chapter:

“Remember me Lord with the favor you have toward your people…

visit me with your salvation…

that I may see the benefit of your chosen ones…

that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation…

that I may glory with your inheritance.”

Now let’s observe what the people did against God….that we may learn… and turn:

  • sinned with our fathers
  • have committed iniquity
  • have done wickedly
  • did not understand your wonders
  • did not remember the multitude of your mercies
  • instead… rebelled against God
  • soon forgot his works
  • did not wait for his counsel
  • lusted exceedingly in the wilderness
  • tested God in the desert.
    • And He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.
  • envied leadership and spoke against their spiritual authorities, Moses and Aaron.
    • The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan and Abiram, and fire burned up the wicked.
  • exchanged their glory (God), for an image of an ox that eats grass
  • forgot God and his works and awesome things done
    • Therefore He said that He would destroy them.
      • But Moses stood in the breach, interceded, and turned away his wrath
  • despised the “pleasant” land
  • complained in their tents
  • did not heed the voice of the Lord
    • Therefore He raised his hand in an oath to overthrow them in the wilderness.
  • joined themselves to Baal, and ate sacrifices made to the dead
  • provoked him to anger with their deeds
    • Therefore a plague broke out
      • And Phineas stood up and intervened in the plague was stopped
      • The plague was stopped and that intervention was accounted to him for righteousness.
  •  angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses on account of them..
  • they rebelled against His Spirit so that he, Moses, spoke rashly with his lips. (leaders are held accountable by God as they lead; he wasn’t allowed into the promised land, that he led them to)
  • did not destroy the peoples, concerning whom the Lord had commanded them.
  • mingled with the Gentiles (those who did not know or follow Jehovah)
  • learned their works and served their idols, which became a snare to them.
  • sacrificed their sons and daughters to demons..shed their blood to idols of Canaan, polluted the land with blood.
  • were defiled by their own works.
  • played the harlot by their own deeds.
    • Therefore the wrath of the Lord was kindled against his people, so that he abhored his own inheritance.
    • He gave them into the hand of the Gentiles and those who hated them ruled over them.
    • Their enemies also oppressed them and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
  • Many times he delivered them, but they rebelled in their counsel and were brought low for their iniquity.
    • Nevertheless, he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry, and for their sake he remembered his covenant and relented according to the multitude of his mercies.
    • He also made them to be pitied by all those who carried them away captive.

The Chapter ends with another remarkable prayer:

Save us, oh Lord our God… and gather us from among the Gentiles… to give thanks to your holy name… and to triumph in your praise!

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting!

And let all the people say, Amen.

Praise the Lord!

NOW… Why is all this shared? Because I have GOOD NEWS and I have BAD NEWS:

The GOOD NEWS is...Jesus took God’s wrath upon himself, so if you repent as an individual of any of these sins listed in Psalm 106, and believe Jesus took away God’s wrath toward you, you can rest at ease and pray for the nation to turn toward God too. Even in this chapter we see clearly it is God’s desire to extend Mercy over Judgment.

YET, THE BAD NEWS is.…He who does not Believe the Son shall not see life but the Wrath of God abides on him.  And the wrath of God IS revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness. God has indeed made The Truth evident to mankind of how He looks upon ungodliness (evil behavior) and unrighteousness (believing we are good and righteous in our own right or that there is another way to reconcile with God.) Take a look at the detail of these verses in the pictures:

Life or Wrath

Friends, Christ is the GOOD NEWS amidst THE BAD NEWS. Always was and always will be THE ANSWER for an individual’s sin problem!

So…What About The Nation ?  The USA? and it’s sins collectively???

We have been met with great mercies, yet the Lord is calling for individuals to come to Him, and as he “collectively sees” hearts after Him, he can hold back wrath. If, however, we are as Israel, and continue in our rebellious ways, collectively as a Nation, we can expect nothing else but God’s Wrath to be extended upon the USA. We have indeed committed the same sins as Israel, his chosen people did. They started out blessed and delivered, as the USA has… but they were brought into captivity and judgment. What will be Our Fate as a country? If we are the same toward GOD, as Israel was in days of old, then we know we will be taken captive by our enemies.

Can YOU make a difference? Yes, of course!!!

Come to Jesus and be reconciled to God! Repent of sin and receive sweet cleansing and reconciliation to God through Christ.  In Christ is everything you need! Ever!  Be saved. Be water baptized to identify with Him, and ask Him to baptize you with His Spirit to receive power to go through the end times now upon us, and to be his witness! His Word will be a lamp to your path, and his hands will take a hold of yours and lead you…as his Spirit comes to dwell within you. Trust and obey Him. As you align yourself to Him, you will receive such a sweet abiding presence of His Spirit within you, and will be just fine, no matter what the future holds.

Only God knows whether we have, as a Nation, tipped the scales toward his wrath… so Today, If you Hear His Voice, Harden not your heart.  Your being saved as “an individual” whether you live or die, is what is important right now. Cry out to Jesus, and God will be be reconciled to you through Jesus’ blood. He is The Way! And YOU become the righteousness of God in Christ, and He will no longer see your unrighteousness, but His Son’s Righteousness in you.

Amen. Truly the Good News for a nation and an individual is Christ!! For the wrath of God was turned away, as the love of God gave us Christ, who took the wages of sin upon Himself, that those WHO BELIEVE IN HIM MIGHT BE SAVED!

The Call – My Book Notes

The CallYears ago I read two books by Rick Joyner of MorningStar Ministries, entitled “The Final Quest” and “The Call.”, the latter being the sequel to the former. With exception of the Holy Bible, these two books impacted my Walk with the Lord the most! And so when I found my tablets that contained my notes from reading these two books back around 1998, I decided to type them up and share them with those who read my blog. They may give you enough morsels of truth to really impact your own walk with Christ, or at least give you the hunger to pick up one of these books to read for yourself in their entirety. I think they are becoming more relevant as the Coming of the Lord approaches. So please, PLEASE, skim through them in your quiet time. You can print this blog with the print button at the bottom and it will only print this particular blog article. (If you print with the browser buttom, it may just print out the whole blog, and you don’t want that!) (smile)

These, as I say, are just my notes, but they may be exactly as was in the book too. These are simply the lines that the Spirit highlighted to ME. If you get the book, the Spirit may highlight totally different areas, but this will give you a taste, at least of the truth shared:

Chapter 1

Page 29

The Holy Spirit was sent to convict you of sin, to lead you to truth, and to testify of me. He is with you continually.

Page 30

He will always lead them to the truth that sets them free.

I am about to reveal myself to the world as the righteous judge. First I must reveal my judgment to my own household. I am the judge but it is better for you to judge yourself so that I will not have to judge you.

Page 31

Rick began to feel small and insignificant and God’s glory…. You began to look at yourself and confusion made it harder to hear me. you must learn to abide in my presence without becoming self-conscious or self-absorbed, this causes man to turn to the deception of your fallen nature.

The time for falling is over… you must learn to stand in the Holy Spirit’s presence.. if you cannot stand when my spirit moves, he cannot use you.

Page 32

You must learn to abide in my presence without looking at yourself he must not look at your inadequacy, but look at my adequacy. you must stop looking at your own unworthiness,  and look to my righteousness. when you are used,  it is because of who I am, not who you are.

As Moses, this only reveals you were looking to yourself, more than to me, which is the main reason why I am able to use so few of my people for what I desire to do. this is false humility and actually a form of pride.

You can never make yourself into who you should be, but you must trust me to make you into who you should be.

Page 34 (ricks words)

I had to abide in the Holy Spirit and allow him to use me… this was my call.

Page 38 ditches

Your own way will never lead you out. I am the only way out when you fall, do not waste your time trying to figure everything out, for you always sink deeper in the Mire.. Just ask for help. I am your shepherd and I will always help you when you call on me..

Deception that comes from seeing the world from your perspective leads to depression. Truth comes from seeing the world from (through) my eyes,  from where I sit at the right hand of the father.

Age 39

When you dwell in my presence you will not see anything but glory.

Ricks words: “I Took my eyes off you.”

Page 42

Lot’s words, “I was silent and many perished. You must not be like me, you must not be silent. Being different is not enough! The power of the Holy Spirit to convict of sin is released by the spoken word.

Arise, speak out God’s judgments!

Page 43

Words must be spoken for God to anoint the… judgment begins in his own house.

Page 45

Jonah speaking, ” when you understand the Lord’s judgments, you understand his ways.

When you draw close to him with hidden sin in your heart it will drive you to insanity, as many have learned through the ages.

Page 46

Even so he is a holy God, and if you will walk closely with him you too, must be holy. The closer that you get to him the more deadly hidden sin can be.

You can come boldly to the throne of grace at any time, and for any need,  but rarely do you come.

You are always as close to him as you want to be.

Page 46, 47

In the times that you will soon enter, they will depart from his ways, because they did not come To Him.

Page 47

The church has run to Tarshish,  desiring to trade with the world, even more then sitting before his glorious throne.

Will be “cast overboard”….the world won’t let you keep going in the way you are headed. this is the grace of God to you. he will then discipline you,  with a great beast that comes up out of the sea! it will swallow you for a time… that you’ll be vomited out… then you will preach his message.

If you a wake yourself up, repent, and go the way that he sends you,  you will not be swallowed by the beast.

The church is running from the presence of the Lord. It is running to activity in place of seeking God’s presence.

Page 49

The greater treasures, the treasures of heaven, few are seeking.

You must turn to the Lord instead of away from him!  he can untangle any mess, and he can bring up you up from the greatest depths. run from him no longer, run to him!

When you fall short of the Lord’s grace and sin entangles you, it’s hard for you to come to him, but you must learn to run to the Lord at such times, not away from him!

Page 50

You will not walk in his ways without coming to him daily. You must not only seek his presence but you must abide in his presence continually

Those who try to do his work without him will fall away.

Page 51

God does not exist for the sake of his house. His house exists for him.

Presumption pride different than Faith. Do not be proud because of your visions. This will always lead to a fall.

Page 52

The power of Jonah’s preaching is a sign…when he awakened and was vomited out of the beast, he had this power.

Page 53

Every day that I delayed my judgment is mercy. See it as that and use it wisely.

Page 54

One characteristic that is common to the over comers in every age, they did not waste their time!

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of my throne

Page 55

Many of my people still love sin. Those who love sin and their own comfort and prosperity more than me, will soon know my severity. these will not stand in the days that are coming.

Greatest distraction is prosperity!

You must learn to trust me as much in prosperity as when you were in poverty.

Page 56

Those who prosper by me do not compromise truth in order to prosper.

Page 59

Reality is wherever I am. Apart from me there is no life and there is no truth. There is no truth or reality apart from me.

Page 60

Learn not to just look for me, but look at me.

Those who come to me, obey me because they love me, and love the truth.

Page 61

They want to be with me so much that even when it all seems unreal, even when I seem like a big dream to them, they will risk all for the hope that the dream is real. That is love. That is the love of the truth. That is the Faith that pleases my father.

Obedience in the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom…. obedience in the love for God, is fullness of wisdom.

Page 62

Judgment for those who call upon my name but do not seek me, it will be that they will increasingly fall out of timing with me. They will be at the wrong place, doing the wrong things, and even preaching the wrong message. They will try to reap when it is time to sow, and sow when it’s time to reap. Because of this, they will bear no fruit.

Page 63

I Am -“come to me every day”- you cannot know me as I am, unless you abide in me.

If you do not stay close to me, you will lose the life that is in you. I am the light!… if you do not stay close to me, your heart will grow dark.

Page 64

Because man was made in my image, his mind and heart can never agree apart from me. When your heart and your mind agree, I will be able to trust you with my authority.

You must hear my messengers and obey their words that are from me without delay for the time is now short.

Page 65

The time is come when I will no longer tolerate those who say they believe me, but they do not obey me. The lukewarm are about to be removed from among my people. Those who do not obey me do not really believe in me. By their lives, they teach my people that disobedience is acceptable.

My people cannot continue to call on me to deliver them from their troubles when they still love sin. I will give a little more time to judge yourself, so that I will not have to judge you, but that time is short.

Page 66

Choose life by obeying me. If you are choosing me, and the light that is in you is my true like, it will grow brighter every day. The seed that was planted in good soil always grows and multiplies. You’ll be known by your fruit.

Page 71

Anointing, for true unity, your message will live on if you trust in the life that you have in God more than you trust in the life that you have on earth.

Page 73

When evil reigns, death is stronger than life, and death prevails over life. When righteousness reigns, life prevails, and life is stronger than death.

The life of the son of God will swallow up death that was released through my disobedience… it is not just living that you must love, but life… death is your enemy!  you’re called to be a Messenger of life.

When The Lords people begin to love, he will use them to release his judgments.

Page 74

Peace will be taken from the earth, but you are called to help restore it. Peace prevails in heaven, and you’re called to bring heaven to earth. Those who abide in his presence will know peace and will spread peace.

Page 75

Even the creation will recognize him and his people and will obey them as it does him.

When his authority is used in righteousness it will release life. Be careful how you use authority. With authority comes responsibility. You too can use it wrongly, but you will not do this if you love. As all of Heaven knows, love never fails.

Everything that is sown must be reaped, unless those have sown evil call upon the cross in spirit and truth. The army of the cross is about to be released, and it will march in the power of the cross, carrying mercy to all. Those who have rejected the mercy of God have rejected life.

Page 84

This is my commandment to you: love me and love your neighbor. Only then will your witness be true. Even when I command you to speak of my judgments it must be done in love.

Page 85

I will restore all things, and all evil will be overcome with Good.

Apostles – John the Baptists – will have one devotion: to see my bride made ready for me!

98 to 100

Vision of prison yard and divisions

To remember, you have the wisdom to escape any trap or wisdom… only remember,  fear can blind you!

Page 100

As you walk in the faith that I am with you, you will always see the way to go.

Vision is what the guards fear the most. Only reveal your vision to those to whom I lead you.
